Friends of Banff National Park radio plays on 101.1 FM and can be heard in and around teh Banff townsite in Banff, Alberta, Canada. It is also available live online at the Friends of Banff website.
Driving through the Rocky Mountains can be a rather silent experience - and that's often good - unless you bring your own audio entertainment.
Near the town of Banff, though, the Friends of Banff radio comes in on the FM band. It's a mix of local and syndicated programs, many of which are 2-minute programs from Wisconsin's Earthwatch Radio, and deal with environmental matters.
This is a great way to get a quick brush-up on some emerging and current environmental issues.
